ROOTS & RELICS is a documentary adventure series that showcases America’s past through unique and compelling stories hidden within family heirlooms, personal relics, and obscure homesteads across the United States. 

Host and Curator JD Hart traverses the country to engage in historical exploration, digging through dusty barns, forgotten attics, and sealed boxes to uncover the human experiences these objects embody, while connecting with the families dedicated to preserving them. 

By blending documentary storytelling, historical reenactment, and immersive on-location exploration, the series honors the quiet power of family tradition and the narratives etched into the objects we cherish.
